Primary Health Care
The Primary Health care department exists to provide preventive care services through promotion, improvement care and support health care in Embangweni Catchment area with the guidance of Jesus Christ. Its vision is an “informed, self reliant and Health community.
Children’s Ward
Provide Medical and surgical services to children both male and female under the age 12.
Medical Imaging & Radiology Department
X-ray and Ultra Sound Scanning
Male Ward
Provide Medical and surgical services to males of 13 years and above
Out Patient
For diagnosis and treatment of patients that do not require a bed or to be admitted for overnight
The OPD operates 24 hours
Normal Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Emergencies: 4:30pm – 7:30am
Fee Structure:
Patients pays consultation and treatment fees
Maternity & OB/GYN Clinic
Labor, neonatal and postnatal care
Eye Clinic
Opthalmology and Optometry services
Dental Clinic
Dental Preventive & minor procedures, Dental Surgeries and fillings
Orthopedic Clinic
Attends to patients with fractures for PoP and those that need clutches
Pharmacy
Storing medical supplies.
Dispensing of drugs to OPD and In patients.
Lab Dept.
Lab tests include FBC, Cross match, urinalysis, Stool Analysis, AFB, Basic Micro Biology, Clinical Chemistry, Serological testing, molecular sputum examination, Pregnancy Test, Malaria and Hemoglobin testing.
Theater
For Minor and major surgical procedures. Currently c/section, evacuation, Tubal Ligation, laparotomy, hysterectomy are some of procedures performed.
